Synopsis
Juan Solanas explores in this feature documentary the work of 12 influential contemporary artists from all over the world, in a cinematic experience that invites us to ponder about art and the way we perceive it. This adventure brings us to Cerro Timbó, in Uruguay , where the " Project Cerro Timbó” invite those artist to make a site specific installation. An Imaginary Land, is an immersive journey into the complex world of these artists’ minds and their reflections, but it is also an artistic creation on its own, provoking a true compelling “mise-en-abîme” conceived and designed by the director.
