Pedro, an insurance adjuster who travels across Mexico investigating disasters, must deal with corrupt “scavengers.” To escape the bleakness of his job, he agrees to act in a play. The performance takes on an emotional dimension greater than that of his profession, drawing a parallel between his personal defeat and human tragedy, and triggering an identity crisis. Two contradictory worlds collide, leaving him trapped in a paradox.
